Did Mr. Brouwer pick a winning manuscript yet? We would all like an update on the status of the Poetry Prize competition, please. Thanks.
I'm eager to hear the contest results as well. The 2011 contest will open for submissions soon. My hope is that this will prompt Del Sol to announce the 2010 winner, since I really can't imagine them asking people to pay submission fees for the 2011 contest if they didn’t award a prize in the preceding year. Mr. Brouwer’s email address is listed at the University of Alabama, where he teaches, so I suppose that someone could always write to him and ask, but my hunch is that the delays are due to some sort of issue at Del Sol, rather than problems with the judge.
